About Hunter

Hunter Brown is originally from Prattville, Alabama. He moved to Tuscaloosa in 2009 where he attended the University of Alabama. In 2013, he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science. Hunter then attended the University of Alabama School of Law. After graduating from law school in 2016, Hunter worked in Washington, D.C., for Senator Jeff Sessions as Legislative Counsel on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary. After Senator Sessions was confirmed as the United States Attorney General, Hunter took a position at the Department of Justice as an Attorney Advisor for the DOJ’s Office of Legislative Affairs. Following his time in Washington, Hunter returned to Tuscaloosa and began working as an Assistant District Attorney under District Attorney Hays Webb. During his tenure at the District Attorney’s office, Hunter prosecuted all types of criminal cases, ranging from traffic tickets and misdemeanors up to child sex abuse and murder. Hunter was involved in trying countless bench and dozens of jury trials while an Assistant District Attorney. Hunter’s private practice focuses primarily on criminal defense, including DUI, MIP, drug charges, and college crimes, as well as serious felony offenses and domestic violence charges. Hunter also handles personal injury, auto accidents, and wrongful death cases. Hunter practices in all State and municipal courts in Tuscaloosa County and across all of West Alabama. Hunter is a member of the Tuscaloosa County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar Association. Hunter is committed to providing the best representation possible to all of his clients and to do so with dedication, character, and integrity. Hunter looks forward to representing the good people of Tuscaloosa and West Alabama for many years to come.
